I have never owned a salad spinner before. Ever. I have never used one, either. This was definitely a first for me, and I love it! It is so great! You just rinse your lettuce after you put it in the basket, drain it well and put the basket in the spinner. Crank the handle a few times and it dries your lettuce. Then you can add your other veggies and it will mix them together. Where has this been all of my life??? As with the other products, since there are no electrical parts, you can wash the entire thing in soap and water.
