I was worried that I wouldn't be able to "get into" this book. I thought it would end up being boring and just full of medical jargon. Boy, was I mistaken! Fascinomas by Clifton Meador is a very interesting, captivating book! It is chock full of short stories of medical nature. The stories are true stories about medical afflictions that seem completely baffling at first, then some obvious reason comes to light. The book is very well written, and I couldn't put it down. In fact, I read it all in one sitting! I like that after each story, it tells the name of the doctor who witnessed and/or treated the affliction. It really adds to the authenticity. I am impatiently awaiting the next book from him! I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review and all opinions are my own.
